The mobile app „AquaInfoMobil“, available at AquaInfoMobile for android or at AquaInfoMobile for iOS, does not need or collect personal privacy data.
Authentication: No real name or email required. To use the app, you will need a login and password from your company’s admin, but the login can be any text string, you won’t need a real name nor an email address.
Camera: You can use the app to take photos, i.e. to document damages. The app uses it’s own photo storage space and does not access any private photos on the device. Many mobile devices allow to include the GPS position where a photo was taken, but this is not needed for the app. Use your mobile device settings to turn off GPS inclusion for photos if you wish to keep data collection to a minimum.
Location information: If your device provides location information (i.e. GPS), you can use it within the app to show your position on a map in relation to water gauges on your tour. But the app does not store or transmit your location.
No sharing of data with third parties: The app only communicates with the AquaInfoWeb webserver over a secure connection (HTTPS protocol).
Only technical data transferred: The data transferred from the mobile device to the AquaInfoWeb webserver contains tour data (water levels, damage reports) and app crash reports in case of an error.
AquaInfoMobil – Angaben zum Umgang mit persönlichen Daten
Die mobile App „AquaInfoMobil“, verfügbar unter AquaInfoMobile for android oder AquaInfoMobile for iOS, benötigt und sammelt keine persönlichen Daten.

Standortinformationen: Wenn Ihr Gerät Standortinformationen (z. B. GPS) bereitstellt, können Sie diese in der App verwenden, um Ihre Position auf einer Karte in Bezug auf die Pegel Ihrer Tour anzuzeigen. Ihr Standort wird von der App weder gespeichert noch übertragen.

Nur technische Daten werden übertragen: Die vom mobilen Gerät an den AquaInfoWeb-Webserver übertragenen Daten enthalten Tourdaten (Wasserstände, Schadensmeldungen) und App-Absturzmeldungen im Fehlerfall.
